The announcement was posted on official Xbox channels and social media.

Geoff Keighley will host a pre-show at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. PT on YouTube as part of Summer Game Fest 2020.

The livestream will bring us footage of first-party Xbox Series X games, most notably Halo Infinite. While Microsoft and Sony are still playing a game of chicken with their console prices and release dates, both companies are showing off games.

Xbox earlier held a 3rd-occasion centered showcase in Might, which uncovered the likes of Scorn, Second Extinction, and extra. You can't use Mixer, though, since Microsoft will shut down the streaming platform a day before the event.

That lineup of first-party studios now includes Psychonauts 2 developer Double Fine, which Microsoft acquired in June, and The Outer Worlds developer Obsidian Entertainment, which Microsoft acquired last November.

There are 1,889 people now hospitalized, 27 percent of these people are in the ICU and 18 percent are on ventilators. Garfield, the state's least populous county, remains the only county without a reported case.

Microsoft showed off a bunch of Xbox Series X games at its showcase in May.

The event is where the company is expected to share a first look at its upcoming first-party software for Xbox Series X. As the name suggests, participants will be able to play more than 60 brand-new game demos of unreleased Xbox games for a week.

The Xbox Games Showcase is scheduled for July 23, 2020.

Microsoft set to launch alongside the Xbox sequence X.

. Microsoft has a total of 15 Xbox Game Studios now, which means we can expect a lot of exciting things from the event.
