Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar released on $100,000 bond

Miramar police said Dunbar, who plays for the Seattle Seahawks, also turned himself in on what his attorney, Michael Grieco, calls "a bogus arrest warrant based exclusively on uncorroborated witness statements".

Dunbar's lawyer, Michael Grieco, said his client surrendered to authorities in Miramar, Fla., on Saturday afternoon, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Dunbar faces four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and Baker faces four counts each of armed robbery and aggravated assault with a firearm. Baker, Dunbar and two other men then allegedly began robbing other people at the party of thousands of dollars in cash, watches and other valuables.

The incident allegedly occurred after Baker tipped over a table during a game of cards and comes after reports that he and Dunbar lost as much as $70,000 (€65,000) in a card game at separate party. However, he says that he has numerous witnesses prepared to tell police that Baker was not involved.

Police said Friday that the arrest warrants still stand, none of the victims or witnesses has recanted a story to them and neither player has turned himself in.

Baker's attorney, Bradford Cohen, confirmed Baker's decision Saturday on an Instagram account and adopted a more conciliatory tone, writing, "Police reports are just that, reports of what was told to them or said to them". Baker turned himself in to police a few hours before Dunbar on Saturday. "Seven affidavits exonerating my client and video evidence".

"I'm confident that he was there but confident he didn't commit a crime", Grieco said about Dunbar. The party took place in Miramar, about 20 miles north of Miami, where Baker grew up.

"[The victim] stated under oath that Baker pointed a gun at him and he was in fear for his life", the report said.

Both men were being held without bond at the main Broward County jail.

Local 10 asked to see the affidavits, but Grieco declined.

Grieco had gone public on Friday with the existence of the affidavits in a series of media interviews.

The New York Giants selected Georgia players Andrew Thomas and Tae Crowder in this year's National Football League draft.

"Both my client and I have felt @miramarpd and the Detective working the case, were accommodating and went out of their way to assure Mr Bakers privacy during this hard time", Cohen's statement further read.

The Seahawks acquired the 27-year-old Dunbar in a March trade with the Washington Redskins.
