The last time Rage Against The Machine played was July 30, 2011 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for L.A. Rising.

The Grammy Award-winning hard-rock band Rage Against the Machine has announced a new concert tour -the band's first in almost a decade - and the guys will play a show in South Jersey this summer.

Rage Against the Machine have announced a worldwide headline tour.

The trek, set to kick off March 26 in El Paso, TX, features five Canadian dates.

They will be joined by rap duo Run the Jewels, in support of their new album, which will come out in the spring.

The band has announced that 100 per cent of all proceeds from the El Paso, Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Phoenix, Ariz., concerts will go to immigrant rights.

Tickets, $125 plus service charges, go on sale through ticketmaster.ca at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rage Against the Machine is also working with other charities and activists during the tour.
